Can clients see time tracking information? Where can I add time from? Can I add time from the Dashboard? Can I associate time with tasks? Is time tracking available on all versions?
Yes, JForce allows you to create invoices and select time from that project that has been marked billable to include on the invoice. Once added to an invoice you can select the hourly rate for that time. Can clients see time tracking information? Just like with the other areas within JForce, the only users or clients that can see time tracking information and time reports are those individuals that have been given an access role that has access to time tracking. Where can I add time from? Can I add time from the Dashboard? JForce includes the Quick Add module which allows you to create time from almost any screen within JForce. This means that the Dashboard is a valid location you can add time from. You can also add time directly from a task on the task list page. Yes, you can manually set time to billed should you choose to not include a time on an invoice but don't want that time to show as not billed. Additionally, once a time has been added to an invoice and the invoice has been paid the system will automatically mark that time as billed. Yes, JForce allows you to export time in CSV format for any of the customized reports you have setup on your site. Yes, Jforce gives you the ability to create time reports based on a variety of options. You can generate reports based on specific companies, users, and date ranges. Can I associate time with tasks? Yes, you can associate time with tasks by either selecting the task when creating a time entry or by adding the time dynamically from a modal window when viewing your list of tasks. Is time tracking available on all versions? No, time tracking with reporting and billing is only available on the Professional version and Enterprise version. |
