Discussion Overview

The Discussion Overview displays all information for a discussion. If the discussion is private, the first thing you will see is alert text stating that the item is marked as private. The discussion name, Options list (explained later), star and print buttons are shown next. Clicking on the star will toggle whether or not the discussion is starred by you. Starred items will have an orange star icon throughout JForce and will show up on your Dashboard. Clicking the print button will display the overview in a popup window. This allows you to print just the overview and not the rest of the information on your site.

The next section dislpays details about the discussion. If the discussion belongs to a category, the category name will be displayed as a link. Clicking on the category name will take you to the Discussion List view filtered by the category you clicked. Likewise, if the discussion is associated with a milestone, the milestone name will be displayed. If your permissions allow you to view the milestone then the name will be a link that takes you the overview for that milestone. If anyone is assigned to the discussion then their names will be displayed by Assignees. If your permisisons allow you to view a person then their name will be a link that takes you to the overview for that person. If the discussion has tags, they will be displayed next. Clicking on a tag will search JForce for items matching that tag.

Below the details section is the original discussion text. It is displayed as a comment with the discussion author and creation date shown in the title area. Any attachments on the discussion will be displayed below the description. Following the discussion text are all of the comments associated with the discussion.
