You can setup JForce so that quotes or invoices are only seen by internal staff or you can configure access roles so that clients are also able to login and view their items.

Yes, JForce allows you to collect payments through the gateway of your choice.

What are the payment gateways used by JForce?

JForce includes an extensive payment gateway API using the Joomla! plugin system. This means that you can setup a gateway for almost any merchant account. By default JForce provides PayPal and Authorize.net plugins.

Can I bill for both time and services?

Yes, with JForce you can select either services or times that have been marked as billable on a project to be included on an invoice.

Can I auto-create invoices?

Yes, you can auto-create invoices from a quote. When you create a quote you have the option of specifying how many invoices you would like to generate. The quote amounts will be split equally among the number of invoices you've chosen. When the client accepts the quote the system will automatically make the first invoice available to them for payment. Each successive invoice will be published immediately upon payment of the previous one.

Does JForce support recurring billing?

JForce allows you to auto-create invoices based on a quote, thus, in theory you could create 12 invoices with a quote and then have each one publish automatically. JForce does not auto-charge on a specified date.

How do I create services?

Services can be created either through the admin panel or dynamically from a quote or invoice. This means while you're creating a quote or invoice if you've forgotten to create a service you can create it on-the-fly.

How do I bill for time?

Any time that is located on the same project and has been marked as billable will be available to add to your invoice. Times that have been previously associated with an invoice will be marked as billed and will not be available to add.

Can I customize the layout of the quotes and invoices?

Yes, JForce allows for you to completely change the layout of the page using CSS and basic HTML

Can I send the quotes and invoices to customers?

Yes, you can setup the email template to be sent to customers notifying them of the quote or invoice. JForce provides an easy what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor to create your email templates.
